Disassembly

In December 2002, volunteers from Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum , Carolinas Aviation Museum, and DAC Aviation International went to Greenville South Carolina to prepare the ex-Sudanese Air Force Buffalo for shipment to Canada. Effort was slowed by an icestorm which effectively shut down the area for a couple of days. A second effort in early January 2003 was required to complete the effort. Following photos show the Buffalo in South Carolina before the arrival of the CWHM acquisition crew (photos courtesy of John Gallien).

Delivery

The Buffalo arrived at CWHM December 2002 to January 2003. A crane and crew is generously donated by the aviation enthusiasts at Aurora Crane for unloading the larger pieces from the flat bed trucks.
